A New Day is a for-profit organization that provides services intended to stabilize the living arrangement, promote reunification and prevent the utilization of out-of home placement for consumers. These services are delivered primarily to children in their home with their family focusing on the following:

- Diffusing the current crises, evaluate its nature and intervene to reduce the likelihood of the reoccurrence:
- Ensuring the linkage to needed community services and resources;
- Ensuring the clinical appropriateness of services provided: and
- Improving the consumer's ability to care for self, as well as the parent's or legal guardian's capacity to care for their children.

A New Day encourages the input, involvement, and impact from consumers, their families, advocates, business and community representatives. Our primary purpose is to provide intensive community outreach services that will address and minimize extremely dysfunctional behaviors displayed by children, putting them at risk for out-of-home placement.

Our Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) program is based on the belief that all children should have a home that provides the necessary foundation of a familial environment in order to overcome societal challenges and barriers, enabling them to become successful, self-sufficient adults. It is our belief that in order for children to break the cycle of violence and self-destruction, they need to be familiar with and receive the basic human needs in life, proper nutrition and community support.

*Individual therapy is provided by trained and competent licensed clinical practitioners.

*In our Intensive Family Intervention program, although the consumer is our central focus, we assess and provide support to the entire family.

*Treatment plans are individualized and specific to the behaviors of the consumer.

*Our Specialized Intensive Family Intervention Program is individualized to meet the client's needs. Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) services include, but are not limited to, individual, group, family counseling, psycho-education and family supports.

*This program offers comprehensive, coordinated, and defined services that are intensive and usually cover a 90 day period.

*Our program addresses a variety of needs including situational stressors, family relations, interpersonal relationships, mental health issues, life span issues, psychiatric illnesses, addictions, eating or sexual disorders, and the needs of victims of abuse, domestic violence, or other trauma.
